ROLE DESCRIPTION:
GenWorx is currently looking for Generator Field Service Technicians that have a background in diesel and natural gas generators. We are looking for people with experience in delivering high-quality customer service, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Main Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain and repair generators, engines and related equipment
- Perform load bank testing as required
- Understand Provincial codes that apply to emergency power systems
- Work well with a group or alone
- Keep a clean vehicle
- Keep a clean appearance and be professional with customer satisfaction in mind
- Work in a safe manner
- Have excellent verbal skills
- Submit paperwork in a clear and timely manner
- Must hold a valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract
- Work after hours and on-call duties
- Lift heavy loads (50+ lbs)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum three years work experience in the generator service field
- Understanding of CSA C282-XX
- EGSA certification
- Electrical, Diesel and PM-1,2 or 3 license
